OLANIYI AREKE, MFA in Film - Howard University         
Producing, Directing, and Digital Editing

Is an Emmy Award winning filmmaker who has written, produced, directed, shot, and edited several short video documentaries, one feature video documentary, and one feature film over the last twenty years.  His works have won numerous awards, including an Emmy Award for video documentary "Descendants" and Princess Grace Statute Award feature dramatic film "Disillusion.".  He has worked at all levels (from technical to Management) in both television and film industries. He has taught television and film courses at Howard University, Morgan State University, and Bowie State University.  Currently, he is the Director of Student Training at WHUT-TV in Washington, D.C.
