The acting course is for students who want to learn how to act before the camera in video and film projects. The course presents an overview of acting techniques any young film actor will need to work professionally. Students will practice film acting during exercises, scenes, and monologues. You will learn camera blocking and hitting the mark, sense memory, moment-to-moment acting, externalization of subtext, techniques for character development, scene breakdown, physical and emotional continuity, and how to embrace and play-to-camera as the film crew master shot, medium, and close-up. |
