Ace Digital
Media Institute of Technology (ADMIT) uses the latest digital equipment,
including editing systems and cameras to train students.
- Acting

This
course is for students who want to learn how to act before the camera
in video and film projects. The
course presents an overview of acting techniques any film actor will
need to work professionally.
- Digital Videography
-
This
course will enable students with no video experience to create their
own news or feature stories using the new Mini-DV technology.
Students will learn composition, continuity, interviewing techniques,
and camera and lights setup.
- Directing
-
This course is for
students who want to learn to direct short and feature films.
Students will learn how to break down script, do blocking,
conduct auditions, select actors, and direct actors and crew.
- Editing
-
This
course is designed for students to acquire all the skill necessary
skills to work on the latest version of Avid Xpress DV or Final Cut
Pro. Students will learn how
to log and capture, assemble, cut, dissolve, trim, create titles, and
export their finished product back to videotape.
- Make-up
-
This
course introduces
students to techniques, requirement, working relationships, and
protocols necessary to be a successful makeup artist on movies,
commercials, TV shows, and music videos.
- Producing
-
This
course is for students who want to learn how to produce for television.
The faculty takes
students through the entire production
from idea, synopsis,
research, and script writing to selection of guests, interview
techniques, budget, and scheduling.
- Teen Workshops
-
Students
in Young Digital Filmmakers workshop will learn how to make a film using
digital video equipment. Students
will learn how to operate digital video camera, light a scene,
set up a shot, direct actors from the Young Actors Workshop and shoot
a short dramatic movie.
