This scriptwriting course introduce students to the process and structure necessary to develop story idea into a screenplay.  Students will learn how to write dramatic and documentary scripts.  The instructor will teach students how to write idea, premise, synopsis, treatment, character development, plot outline, three act structure, and first draft of short screenplay or a short documentary.  The course involves lectures on structure, story conferences, readings, and in-depth critiques of each student's work.  Each student's story and script is analyzed and commented on by instructors and fellow students.
